Knewton Global Schools, Miri is located in the Malaysian state of Sarawak on the north coast of the island of Borneo. Our campus has both a British International and a National Private School, caring for approximately 630 students aged 3-17 years old from a wide range of nationalities and backgrounds.

Knewton Global Schools, Miri is continuously growing and is now looking to appoint enthusiastic and experienced Teachers for 2027 academic year.

Private School Teachers (ability to teach up to SPM would be an advantage).

Job Requirements:

  • Must possess at least a relevant Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (a recognised teaching qualification would be an advantage).
  • Preferably those who can teach a combination of subjects/levels.
  • A minimum of two years’ teaching experience.
  • Have excellent subject knowledge of the Malaysian National Curriculum.
  • Patient, caring, responsible and passionate about teaching.
  • Computer literate with good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Fluency in written and spoken Malay and English.
  • A team player and adaptable to meet the needs of the department.

International Primary School Teacher

Knewton Global Schools, Miri is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Primary School Teacher.   

Our campus has both a British International and a National Private School, caring for approximately 630 students aged 3-17 years old from a wide range of nationalities and backgrounds.   

Our International Primary School follows the British National Curriculum and the IPC. 

Job Requirements:

  • Holds a Bachelor’s Degree.
  • A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. B.Ed., PGCE or equivalent).
  • English proficiency at excellent level.
  • Minimum two years’ teaching experience in primary years education is preferred.
  • Experience in international school teaching and knowledge of international curriculum is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate with students, colleagues and parents, and to build strong relationships with all members of the school community.
  • Ability to work collaboratively.
  • A willingness and commitment to contribute fully to the life of the students and school beyond the academic day, including active participation in the academic enrichment and co-curricular programmes.

Knewton Global Schools, Miri is seeking to appoint a responsible Gardener who can join immediately.

Job Requirements:

  • Preferably below 45 years old.
  • Minimum Primary or Secondary School education.
  • Physically fit and able to work outdoors.
  • Able to lift, carry, and move gardening materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Able to maintain the school grounds, gardens, lawns, and landscaped areas to a high
    standard.
  • Good attention to detail and a strong commitment to maintaining a clean and attractive
    environment.
  • A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to support the school’s operational
    needs.
  • Fresh candidates with a willingness to learn may also be considered.
